Direct Tax

Indirect Tax

The principle indirect taxes in India are Customs, Service Tax, Central Value Added Tax (CENVAT, also called Central Excise) and VAT / Central Sales Tax (CST) which are dealt by our Indirect tax group who has extensive experience in dealing with all these tax issues.

Our team, who specialises in indirect tax, assist in estimating indirect tax exposure in respect of both Central and local levies, and providing comprehensive advisory services relating to all indirect tax issues. Guiding clients on matters relating to Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA) as well as representing many of such clients before the Enforcement Directorate.
